this one teacher would give me detention ALL the time.  he was the new, young MALE economics teacher (in an all girls school.  ugh you can imagine the drama.)  ”Mr. D” as most girls called him.  ”Mr. Douchebag” to me.  and yea i probably got a detention for calling him that at some point.  this guy had it out for me.  i didnt know why but once it was on, it was on.  he would make digs at me all the time.  especially because i had gym before his class and the gym was on the other side of the academy.  i was usually running down the hall with half my uniform on over my gym clothes, turning corners while trying to tie my shoes and button my shirt.  arriving at my desk right before the bell with one knee sock pulled up and a corner of a shirt untucked.  this guy always had to say something on those days.  he was probably just mad that when he tried to burn me i always burned him back and had half the class laughing at him.  

when i had detention with him, that’s when he got his revenge.  and boy did he know how to get it.  knowing i was a punk he would put on bee gee album after bee gee album as i copied a dictionary.  if the bee gees ran out or he felt like switching it up a bit, he’d put on abba.  *shudder*

i’m pretty sure at some point i wrote “barry gibb sucks donkey dick” on my economics desk in high school.

and you know what?  years later my father randomly remembered that when he was human resources director at a major hotel in downtown buffalo, he totally fired Mr. Douchebag years before the teaching gig.  

closure can be a funny thing.
